Ashwood House is a registered care service for younger adults over 18 with Mental Health needs. Our homes accommodate people with different levels of independence within the local community.
We have more than 24 years of experience supporting people to get the best out of life.
Our specialist mental health care services are designed to promote independence and integration into the community through the use of individual care planning and recovery approach to mental health.
We offer residential care (24 Hour) and supported living also known as assisted living services. All services and respite care are offered in our homes serving London and Essex.
We understand one care plan does not fit everyone and we have a passion for supporting people, mindful of their strengths and recovery needs tailoring their plans for their personal needs. Daily services can include anything from meal preparation, hygiene, cleaning, supervision and managing daily life. We take the time required to get to know our clients and develop an individualised care plan that fits their specific needs.
Companionship is key to a trusted relationship with our caregivers. We not only strive to help clients with everyday tasks but want to develop a caring relationship. We provide one-on-one attention and care that cannot compare in other settings.
We provide long term and short-term care in our residential and supported living accommodation for people who require support with their mental health. All services provide a supportive environment that promotes recovery.
We help our clients to develop and maintain skills that will enable them to improve their skills with the aim to move to independent living, when appropriate.
All our services adopt a holistic and psychosocial approach to care based upon an individual’s psychiatric, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs.
We support people with learning disabilities, schizophrenia, personality disorders, substance misuse rehabilitation and many other mental illnesses which can be addressed through access to psychological therapies and specialist input from the multi-disciplinary clinical teams.
Working with relatives and carers is a key component of our mental health care services and people are encouraged to participate in the planning process.
We provide a safe and comfortable environment with support available 24 hours a day to maintain our clients health and wellbeing.
